Default Can a bad alternator slow you down?

Im pretty sure it has SOME affect but Im curious

I was at the track a few weeks ago and was running consistent 13.4-13.5's in the high 106's with a few low 107's in there....Well my alternator took a crap on me last friday night during my final run. The BEST run I could get that night was a 13.59 @105.xxx

Im just curious if the alternator had any effect on my times?

What was the weather, track prep, 60 foot, battery condition. Theres a few other conditions that could effect all of this

The alternator took a crap after my final run. I was just curious if an alternator that wasnt functioning to full capacity could affect your runs

Well, the only difference in the car was I had approx 1/2 tank of gas, as opposed to less than a 1/4 tank the last time I ran.....And I ran at the same track with almost the same weather 70 degrees with low humidity....My 60ft's actually improved.

Well the PCM watches charging voltage so it knows the system voltage it is working with. The little differences in voltage changes the saturation time of the coils & the injectors performance as well due to their supply voltage. So it could cause problems.
Not to mention the fuel pump would be turning a little less RPM at a lower voltage too. Hard to say if this is the cause though.
