visit lvd site at www.dragway.com for directions

trust me when I tell you..theres not gonna be alot of single digit cars there...this should be right up the alley for modded ls1's. Make the trip.

This is street racing legally..at night.

Jammer, its a long way off not knowing how my schedule will look around that time, but as long as it's clear I plan on going. Sounds like a great event!

Is it still no imports and no street tires?

No imports unless permission granted by organizers... I think they will allow fast ones with tires. I do beleive they are now allowing street tires.. but those with street tires will have to line up outside the groove and the station workers will be there to aim you correctly. Drag radials are fine.

Glad to see your caomin Naut... and NHRA, yeah, your right.. its a ways off and I keep forgetting that.

I wish my junk was running.. if it was I'd be all over that. I hope they are gonna have another one of these towards the end of the summer I should be abck up and running by then, and have a couple skulls that need a good bashing, this would be a perfect time and place to do it.

Could always take the chute off, and if anyone asks about the cage, just tell them you wanted it done once... or could always play the " I bought the car this way with no motor or tranny.. I bought a GM crate ls6 and stuck a cam in it"... play dumb LOL.

The shute doesn't have a dissconnect... the frame is welded off... And the possibility of winning a couple buck isn't worth my time taking off the shute pack... I'm not looking to win money.. just get some more track time in...

Just kidding around Tim.... that car's gonna shock the crap out of people when they see it run anyway, but would be more fun to downplay it.l

I'll throw a boom box in the back so it sounds like the radio is still in it and throw a set of plates on it...
