One of my dads coworkers went to Dallas and a dealership had them 7 grand off. So he came back to Houston and Landmark matched the deal. Im guessing the price was around 40-45k?

my parents got a great deal on theirs at vandergriff in arlington. they drove up there from houston to get it. i think they were out of there for around 45K. if you can get it in writing from them, i am pretty sure that any dealer in houston that wants to sell a car will match the price. hope that helps

I've seen them advertised for $42-45K lately. Of course, those could be the gimmick "1 only!" type postings. I've had mine about 9months now, and I had to drive up to Plano (North of Dallas) to find a good deal. Sticker was $52K, bought it for $48K. Dealers in Houston at the time were still marking them up beyond sticker price.

I've seen them new for $42k before.

What gets me though is the used market. I've seen a decked out model with NAV selling for the same price as a higher mileage one without it.

<--- will take an SOM 06 model with nav and the 6 speed auto for $42k if anyone can find one

Something about the phrase "Base model C6" just seems like an oxymoron to me.

Kind of like optioned-out pinto.

why would i pay extra for navigation, sound system, etc. if you add all that up its like an extra 6-8grand depending on other options. i could deffinately use that money elsewhere on that car. i can also get almost any navigation/sound system for about 70% off of retail.
