Default New Airless tires WTF? Don`t know if it will show the picture of the tire.

Radical New Tire design by Michelin

Look, Ma, No air! Check these out.

Thought you might like to see the next generation ! of tires.

They had a pair at the Philadelphia car show.

Attached is pictures of them

These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon.

The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tires

This is what great R&D will do and just think of the impact on existing technology:

a.. no more air valves

b.. no more air compressors at gas stations

c.. no more repair kits

LOTS OF PHOTO'S BELOW SO SCAN DOWN & SEE

This is true, pictures were made here in South Carolina Plant of Michelin.

It will be awhile before they are available for cars

The picture didn`t post Click on the link at the top of the post to see 10 pics. of the tires. I wounder how these are going to handel for cornering and launches on the street. Had this e-mailed to me just thought I`d share it with yall. No air adjustment kinda sucks. Make sure you look at the pictures of the tire on a car and not on the scooters or four wheelers. What ever the first several pictures are. They can`t be any lighter with all that inner lining even though they don`t have a side wall. The first to have these tires are going to be ricers and SUVs with 22s.

those concept wheels have been out for a while now. i remember seeing them on a show on the discovery channel or something a while back - at least 6 months ago.

they had them on a car then as well. looked pretty funky. would be interesting to replace the need for a large rim.

I posted an advertisment video up awhile aback about these. They showed them a lot on bob cats and heavy equipemt. Ugly as sin on any car though. I would have to see it in drag radial form or slick first.

Looks like they'd be hard to apply tire shine to...

that looks retarted, it's never gonna work. What if you hit a pot hole at like 50 mph with those they would be destroyed.
