i have a 2006 monte carlo ls4. its basically same set up as a camaro, exhaust comes from manifolds to one down pipe through cat, then res, then splits to two mufflers. i took off the resinator, and put on 2 magnaflow mufflers. is because i still have a cat?or maybe cuz i use two mufflers instead of one? the pipe is 2.5 i think. here is a couple soiund clips

diffrent cam specs, diffrent cylinder bore, manifolds? It could be anything...it could even be your imaginiation. I bet you took that engine and placed it in a camaro same setup u would think nothing of it!

It may be the 2 mufflers. Just get a cutout put on before it goes to the mufflers and get an electric opener for it from QTP. You can be quiet when you want....and loud when you want. It's pretty nice!

Most likely it is because the engine is completely different than a Camaro LS1 and that is the same reason no other 302 sounds like a Poopstang. It is just the dezine of the engine.

yeah the sound of your car has so many variablys, down to the compression, displacement, shape of exhaust port!, manifold or header shape and on down the line
