GT 2-3 in, now engine studder?
I got the LPE GT 2-3 cam installed over the weekend, and only got to fire it up and go around the block before I had to go in to work. Ran well, no noises or other oddities. Tonight after work I took it out for about a 15 - 20 min cruise. Mostly just cruising around, a little WOT. Nearing home, sitting at a light the engine seems to studder a little, and off idle with mostly light throttle it studders a bit. Is this just the comp learing the new cam or do I have a problem? LPE said on the phone this cam would work fine with the factory tune, however I just ordered HPTuners and a LC-1 tonight.

Not sure, but you may have a problem. Could be tuning. Buddy of mine put this cam in an '04 GTO and had no problems, raised limiter to 6600 and that was it. After on the dyno, he saw it was a little rich and tuned the A/F. What exactly do mean studder? My car hestitated under light acceleration and it turned out to be the maf.

OK, so I went in to recheck the rockers as suggested. Got as far as plug wire removal only to find that the #2 plug wire on the pass side was loose on the plug. Even though I checked it thrice trying to make sure is wasn't something that easy, it came off he plug as soon as I touched it. Shoved the damn thing back on, and now it runs smooth as ever. Thanks for the responses. I hereby apply for the "Don't make me regret this mod because I'm a dumbarse and fvcked something up" paranoia award.
