im getting my car back sometime this week and im debating over selling my WS6 hood and getting a 4" rasied ram air hood. havent really seen too many pics, so enlighten me. anyone made them functional using the stock airbox, or did you fab up another one? if i can i wanna keep the airbox and then stick dual purge lines through the hood openings.

I am seriously about to do the same thing. It is crazy that you asked this question because I was about to post the same ones. I am trying to sell my hood locally. I really want some info about making it functional with some sort of baffles for the rain or something. anybody out there?

i found out how to do but the pics i had saved was to big so the car is real dirty in these becouse of the storms we have had but hope these help

slolt1- the car F***ing sweet, and are you going to leave it like that or paint it and make it functional?

whitebird- im not sure right now until i really get my car moving, but i'll post it up if i decide to sell it or not.

that car = that is exactly what i was looking for. love the color too, partly cuz its just like mine(except the t-tops and wheels). that's it, as soon as i get the car problem free the hood is going on!!

TexasTA- definately get the hood like that one. did your car come with that wing or is a formula--->trans am conversion?

This is Exactly what I am going for. But my T/a is black. I'm already getting the Black 11 inch Zr1's. Its crazy because I've had this picture as my desktop for like 6 months. I am going to try and sell my hood for like 400ish. But locally or pick up only. I really don't fell like messing around with shipping it.

lol ive had it about that long on my desktop to.... no my car came with it.... it was a option on LT1 cars only i believe i checked the VIN # and it's a Trans Am it just got the v-6 formy wing instead of the raised wing i think ive actually grown to like it more than the raised wing i get a lot of races because people see my car and dont expect as much espcially at night cause people cant see the TA decals on it... but now with the way my car sounds they usually hesitate

That is the same pic that made me want that hood, I am going to get one of those to replace my WS6 hood also.
