Default decided to buy T/A. need some info.

hi guys..

l currently own a 97 LT1 formula and l am about to sell her. l would like to get a 2001 or 2002 Ws6, black, M6 trans am. and l would like to spend 14.000 bucks. what would be the lowest mileage with that price?

l will get one in a couple months or 3. but l would like to make a research about them now. when l buy what are the most important parts that l should check? when l got my formula she was sick and l spent a lot of money on her. l dont wanna make the same mistake..

any suggestions would be appriciated..

Erdal

erm 50k miles? thats just a guess, if you get a regular t/a instead of a ws6 you will save yourself some cash.

what to look out for? hmm just make sure the previous owner wasnt a **** *** i suppose. test drive it hard.

um you could probably get a t/a with 35k or 40k if you look around. this all depends where you live also. Take your time, i spend about 5 months looking for my baby, and im glad i didnt rush into any of the other cars i was looking at

Yikes, 14k for an 01-02 WS6? Around NY any 01-02's with under 50k miles are all in the $18k+ range. I'd say you would probably have to find something with at least 70-80,000 miles on it, or something wrong with it (dings/dents on the exterior, small mechanical issues) before you're dropping down to 14k. You shouldn't have much of a problem getting a regular TA for that price however.
