Ive been trying to figure out some experiences with this type of cam aswell. I have a cam just like that awaiting insallation and Ive never heard of or seen a car with this type of cam besides the trex.

True. your right it is. buttt thats a pretty big cam, too big for a street car! i know someone who got one, and put down 391 cam only and still ran a damn 13.9. i dont want to have to stall it to 4500 to get in the power range

Haha! Pansy....:jest:
I have a 224/230 cam on a 112 in an auto. Has a definite SOTP feeling over stock! Also on a car meant for kicking ass!

i want something that will pull hard from 2500-6000, rather than 4000-infinity

I've ran:
230/230 110
232/236 111
254/260 111
What type of info do you need

My Lunati 236/236 112 is a beast from 2700 rpm on up. I still shift at 6,100 rpm and it's much more brutal than a stock cam. If I were you I'd shift 6,500 or less untill you put arp rod bolts on.
If you have your auto shift @ 6,700 + all the time your shortblock will be on borrowed time. :bomb:
Don't worry whether it's on a 111 or 112. Or splitting hairs on duration 230 compared to 232. You wont tell the difference.

You should look into the TSP torquer 2. Just got mine in and it kicks ass! Pulls nicely from 2-6k. 232/234 112 .598/.600

was there really a difference between driving the first two?
which out of the first two did you like the most and why?

Phil, Could your describe your old 230/230 110lsa cam? How well did it idle and where did it make POWER. Is it easy to tune?

it's a 110.? lsa. I think it's like 110.3 but I can't find the cam card. It's closer to a 110lsa than a 111lsa, I remember that much for sure!

I have a PT4000 converter which has a 5k shift extension. The run was started at like 3k but the converter flashes up to 5k since it wouldn't stay locked. We even commanded it locked in 3rd with bidirectional controls and it wouldn't stay for some reason.
Know your facts before you start slinging names. The dyno operator has no control of the stall speed. :eyes:
If you look at my next graph, you can see the full pull since the converter actually locked and held. It took me from 372rwhp to 392rwhp.
