Default What rpm should I shift at?

All mods in sig. The car made 397hp and 386ftlbs and was still pulling at 6300. Provided traction is optimal where should i lanch it. Also the car made 548hp and 703ftlbs on nitrous making power untill about the same. Should i lanch lower with the juice or the same? thanks for the help.

Launch at 6k off and 4k on. Shift about 6700 off. Not sure on. No experience on juice here. You want to shift just as power starts to fall. You want to be close to the power in the next gear as you are in the current gear. My car was peaking at 5800 so i shifted at 6k where the car just started to fall, then I went to 6200 and picked up a solid 0.2. Because before when I would go to the next gear the power was much less than had I shifted later even though power was falling, it was higher at 6200 than 5600 or where ever the car dropped to on the shift (6k). Do you see what I am saying? You can get real technical and look at dyno graphs and speeds at rpms in different gears or just SOP feel to get it there.

Because that 150 shot at higher RPMs is going to rip the tires loose. And it will give you more torque at lower RPMs to get you out of the whole better. If a juice guy wants to chime in here and correct me if I am wrong.
