The End
The stock motor has decided it had enough abuse. It started showing issues after the 11.80 pass on 3.25.06 so we loaded it up and I checked a few things and thought it was ready to go again, took it for a spin around the back roads and the thing lost all power and once it got up to temp it started knocking and oil pressure was about nothing. It would not even turn the tires over and that is nutz with the 4.33s back there. So the motor is out and I will know this weekend what exactly expired.
Now, what should I do in the future?!!?!?

From a year ago I put 1000 miles on it according to the oil change sticker.
I have documented 47 runs in my spreadsheet, so I would guess it has 75 runs, but they were HARD miles. the guy before me liked to spray alot and I liked turning RPMs. It was just a matter of time, really suprised it lasted this long and ran that well.
There was more left in the combo, it was getting ready for a dyno tune and some other little tricks but guess I will do something else now.....OR I could stick another stock short block in it (I got one at home) and go bolt on racing again to see how much deeper I could go. The only thing is the Short block I have does have 100k miles on it and it would need the 97 cam in it, it is a 95.
I think LOW 11.7s were possible and it might could have dipped into the 11.6s with more time.....
