How many miles do you have on your LT1? Just curious as to how many miles you guys have on your LT1, and whats the usual range these things go as far as miles on original well taken care of motor. mine is a 97 30th ANV. z28 with 87k.

160k and still going, only problems not caused by me(ie breaking a bolt off in the head while taking off exhaust manifolds) were a bad starter and the few common oil leaks.

turned 110k today on the one in the sig and 118k on the one thats wrecked. from what ive heard the motors are generally good for at least 180k to 200k. im waitin to hit those numbers so i can build my piece into a 383.

just about to 90k on my 96, runs tit but i figure its about time for a new opti, hell might as well do the water pump once i get in there too, and since its all apart that sounds like the perfect time to drop in a cam

bought it in august '03 with 106,000 miles. currently have 135,000 miles. the 383 has a little over 3,000 miles. Used to be a daily driver but now its not, only seen about 5,000 miles in the last 12 months.
