cam recommendations?

cam recommendations? how big a cam do you guys think i can handle i want to go cc 306 it will be big enough for me since i got the 1.6 rockers already ... ill have to upgrade my springs again but that aint no big deal .... im more worried about piston to valve clearance.... what would i be able to handle on stock heads ... ive got upgraded valvetrain already.... BTW i have flat-top pistons now little higher compression

Find Bret Bauer either on here or Camaroz28.com and ask him. He's the LT1 cam specialist. If you plan on porting your heads, you may wanna get a custom cam. And getting your heads ported is definitely reccommended with a CC306 or bigger.
