So there I am, in the GTO, pull up to the light and there is a Black Dodge Dakota sitting in the next lane. Nice truck, dual exhaust, with a hell of a nice lope. I'm thinking nice, this is going to be a good run.
Light comes down and Bam! We are both off like rockets, I have about a car on him off the light. But he's hanging pretty good. Hit second and take it up to the revlimiter, Slide third, he's about two cars back, nice.
Then reality sets in... I am not at the track! I'm rollin' Kitsap way and its 7:20 in the morning and the lights flashing behind me are NOT my win lights. Unbeknownst, to either of us, (the guy driving the nice Dakota or Me) the car behind us (Now WAY Behind) at the tree, I mean light, is a Bremerton PO-PO. Can you say UH-OH?
We get the very Kind "PULL OVER, NOW" through the rolled down window of his cruiser. He's of course calling for back up at that moment. Gets us both pulled over with no problems, (as soon as we saw him we were on the brakes hard). "Escuse me Sir, You didn't see me behind you?" Of course I didn't see him, I was watching the tree, I mean light...
Anyway, Long story short, we evedently ran in to one of the nicest police officers I have ever met. He told both of us to pull our heads out of our Asses and gave us each a nice "no points" ticket. I can't even begin to explain how releaved I am, that we ran into such a cool guy. I tell you what, I have learned my lesson! The whole time I was sitting there, I was thinking about how many ways I was F*%KED.
So before you guys go and tell me how unsafe it is to play around on the street, I'll just go ahead and, YES I AM A DUMB ***.

they were pretty heavy yesterday. they had people on each side of the road at Old Military yesterday when we rolled through. They decided to follow us for some reason I saw two or three more when I ran back to Cory's and Jim's.
Glad you got a cool Cop Ryan! I know you learned some thing

Yeah. That was a blast yesterday, but there were a lot of cops sitting around. It was really good to meet all of you, and it was great to get a chance to run the car, even if I did brake 100ft before the line thinking I'd crossed it That and I didn't get on it 'till almost the top of 1st cuz I was too worried about spin. Oh well, you live and learn!!
