Power Door Locks/Windows
Hey guys, I have my eye on 2 cars from here and if they fall through there is a 00 z28 with pwoer nothing, cloth seats, its a stripper. Now I dont mind the seats but I really could use power door locks and maybe power windows, dont they sell kits to change it into that? How hard is it? Worth it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I wish I had a stripper... and a 1SC car too.
Um, seriously the 1SC cars are kind of rare, I'd jump on it if I were you, and there are advantages to it. Hardtop = lighter, no wind noise, no leaks... if you really need power door locks I know there are conversion kits available. Don't know how much they cost.

They may make a kit, but you're best bet would probably to strip the power options from a Camaro in a junkyard. Locks would definitely be easier than windows, but as long as you grab everything you need, you're square. If you can get a deal, just walk out with both doors intact and strip them out at home. Windows, locks and switches.

Well I plan on having it for a DD for alittle while then just a weekend car. He has new rims on it and a hockey stripe that goes tot he front fender that says LS1, it looks very sharp. Id love to shave off as much weight as possible... I could live with no power door locks, but Id really like power windows. Oh well...if anyone knows of any kits please let me know!
