Default meguiars plastx review

today i went over to my friends house and used meguiars palstx on the headlights and look how awsome it works.

The first two are from a f150 the a sts. Before and after

used of coures meguiars plastx. a small buffer a meguiar pad.
First i washed the headlights with a bug sponge and applyed the plastx and let it sit for a few minutes. Then i buffed it off.

what do you think?

10-4. However, I use 2000 grit sandpaper (800 for deep scratches) and then buff it out with 3M fine cut rubbing compound

It works good for a quick fix but give it a few days and some rain and they will look just the same as before you applied it. I tried it on my gf's z28 and worked really well they looked great I was amazed as many of you all are. After a few days and some rain they were right back to looking like crap. I still use the stuff when I clean her car so it at least looks good for awhile instead of total crap. I really think the rain/water is what does it just washes the stuff right off, I tried some wax over it the last time I did it. It took some of the clearness out of the lenses but still looked better than before the polish and wax hopefully they will stand up to the weather better now.
