Default Different oil pressure sensors between years?

I've got an LS6 intake I'm going to install so I was looking at what to replace while I'm in there. There are few sensors behind the intake that would be easy to replace during the swap. I looked in the part numbers thread and there are 2 part numbers for oil pressure sensors: one for 98 and one for the rest. I have a 98 so I thought the later one might be an upgrade. Does any one know? If there's a benefit, I'd go ahead and get the 99-02 sensor. If not, I'll just stick with my 98 sensor.

Thanks

Stick With the one for your car. There are too many little differences in sensors that can throw things off. And an oil pressure sensor will either be the same with a superceided part # or it will have a different resistance thus sending a different signal to the pcm and cluster. Either way your engine still makes the same oil pressure regarless on what the sensor says, so just stick with the one for your car to prevent unwanted headaches.
