Rolled mine last friday, insurance is probably going to give me about $12k (hopefully) for the 2001 Z. If anyone is looking for an LS1 engine or T-56 trans I may buy the car back, if not I can give you a heads up on where the car is.

Looking for a 2000+ Camaro, I'd like an SS but don't know about being able to afford one with 12k, might go with another Z. Preferably leather, power everything but beggars can't be choosers. Only real concern is the car is reliable (for a chevy anyways) and doesn't have a ton of miles.

The closer to stock the better really, I don't want to pay more for a modded car or one with fancy wheels.

If you are around the baltimore/dc area or you know someone let me know.

I have one that might be down your alley. It's a 2000z red t-top ebony leather t56. the only option's it didn't have was tracktion control and cd changer in trunk. it's got 50k on it right now. I don't drive it much I only put on a thousand mile's since last august. it's gagred kept but not totaly mint' has a small ding in the rear quarter, a couple paint chip's and a wear mark on the driver's seat. (not worn through just a wear mark.) the car has true dual's with sweet thunder's and side exhaust. I have the factory exhaust to go with it and it's not cut up or butchered it will bolt right on. I would sell it for pay off. I havn't check recently but my guess s it's less then 12k. I'm located about a hour east of harrisburg pa. I'm sorry I don't have any pic's I havn't figured out how to send them. has new tires on the chrome fivespokes. that's everything I can think of.

no problem. one think I forgot to mention. the gear set is shot. I'm putting in a aburn posi which I have and new gear's which I don't yet. if you know before I buy the gear's you can choose what you want in there. it has 3:42's but I'm considering 4:10's.

a guy where i work just sold his 2000 ss to carmax...im not sure whitch one there are a few in the area....maybe you could check those?

I have a buddy, selling a 99 black SS. He goes 11.6 I believe, cam only....m6....black ss with black zr1's. I believe it has about 70k on it, but it's maintained well. 342 gears, viper spec m6, mcleod clutch with maybe 3k on it, great car. I would buy it if I didn't have mine. I think he's asking 11 for it. TomSS99
