Royal Purple/Amount of Fluid?? A4 Goat Doing a converter her in a few weeks. Was wondering.....
1. What is everyone's opinion on Royal Purple? Ive herd more good than bad. The bad being tranny slippage, more weear, etc...

2. How many quarts do I need to fill the converter plus tranny.

I have also heard mixed things about fluid useage in our cars...I stick with Dextron III, whereas Drew778 uses Type F. When I asked the trans builders about RP and RL, they suggested to not use them so I dont.
Fluid, converter I squeeze in 2 qts before install, and then filter swap requires another 4 or 5 total, but if only doing a TC and not touching the pan, 3-4 should be good, depends on how much you lose on removal and install. GL
