Ask about the radio also. Some aftermarket radios DO work with the steering controls.

Talk em down to $10K with taxes/title out the door and be happy. I think thast a very reasonable price for that car...

i paid 10,200 for my 99 Z with 70,000 miles. but with a brand new 6 speed trans. the guy had all the documentation for the new parts

Nice car but i have definitly seen cars with lower mileage go for the same price.

Hold out for an 01/02 car. When you start to mod it you will be way ahead of the game. Plus, they dyno 10-20 hp higher than other years and get better gains from tunning.

how much more is insurance for 01 or 02... i got quoted 236 for a 99 :. untill i hit 21 then it goes down to 180

It may not be a bad price if the car was well taken car of, but I'd keep shopping around. I only paid about $1,500 more for a single-owner, garage-kept Z28 with 47K miles and it's fully loaded (leather, power everything, monsoon cd, t-tops, chrome wheels, 3.23 gears, etc).
