2 clutches down...one more to go. Okay guys heres the low down. This is going to be my 3rd clutch in a lil over 2 years. Had a SPEC 3 first and it lasted a little over a year and 12k miles with no passes on them. The clutch was totally worn to the rivets and the flywheel was grooved.
My next clutch was a RAM Powergrip and I was told it would handle up to 500 rwhp. Another year later and about 13k miles this one started sqealing and when I popped off the pressure plate a spring fell out. It had bent the area around what held the spring in and knicked 2 other springs. The sad part is that there was a lot of meat still on the clutch and the flywheel was in perfect shape.
Now I'm throwin in the ever so expensive Textrlia from Byun. We shall see
