Default Advise on juicing an 4x4 S10 v6

I have an NX hitman carburated kit and ordered all the parts last week from dynotune to convert it into a EFI kit. I have yet to order the jets, but was seeking some advise.

Do you think its a bad idea for me to install nitrous on my 98 S10 Zr2 4x4? I was thinking of installing an 85 shot to put the truck close to 260 RWHP and over 300 ft/lbs at the tire. I am doing this just for fun and do not plan on using it all the time. Do you think my truck being a 4x4 with 31" tires will affect the nitrous use in anyway?

I will be installing a full thorttle switch and I already have a bottle heater. Thanks in advance for any replys.

BS, it should work fine.
Be certain your fuel pump can keep up, and *I* might start with a little less than an 85 shot just for testing. A wideband reading is always nice.

Wow, a 4x eSteN with juice. Hmmm...I would definately start smaller. If your looking at an 85 shot putting you around 260, then your planning on shooting 50% of stock power output (260-85=175hp, of which 85hp jetting would be equal to 50% of OE HP) for test run doesnt make sense to me. I would start around 50, after some plugs, and making sure everything else is good. Wideband would make me feel real warm and fuzzy in this particular application, check for tuning and fuel pump issues. I agree the drivetrain may not like it too much, especially having larger tires on, but then again, she might eat it up like a champ. Please post the results when you do try it.

if its a 4.3 the it came with 190 hp or 200hp (4x4). I ran a 125 shot (Engine Rated) with no fuel pump mods or timing adjustments, every truck is dirrerent. I suggest you start at 75, as when i has nitrous on my jimmy i could barley feel the 50 shot. Also get some AC Delcos r42lts Plugs gapped at .035 which is the norm for s10's running juice.

also if you think 31s are big...feast, this also has a fuly built 4.3 300hp n/a built to handle 200 shot (not installed)

SAS 14+" lift 35's with no fender cutting

this is what it looked like before:

This is more of a $hits and giggles project for me. I have installed a couple nitrous kits and when I passed the idea by my buddies they of course laughed their behinds off and then the topic if the tire mass came up so I decided to ask advise on the best nitrous forum on the net.

Thanks for the advise everyone.

you could use a progressive controller to ease the hit to the drivetrain...
