Default How much N/A power would this make?

This is my new motor setup, and I'm trying to figure out how much power it'll make without the blower.

350ci-stock bore 4-bolt block
5.7 H-beam rods
SCAT 3.480 stroke Crank
GMPP HD Timing Chain
COMP Cams 220/232 duration .524/.534 lift w/1.6 rocker(1.52=.498/.507)
Stock Vortec Heads
1.6 Magnum Roller Rockers
COMP Cams 10309-1 Valve springs/retainers
Screw-in 3/8 studs
ARP Head/Main Studs
Marine Vortec intake manifold with 42lb injectors
1in TB Spacer
Gibson Headers, ORY, no-cats, Flowmaster 40 series muffler
MSD 6-offroad ignition with blaster 2 coil, wires/cap/rotor
NGK TR6 plugs

Any ideas? The stock engine was rated at 255hp 330 ft/lbs with 19lb injectors, stock cam, intake etc. I'll be running 8-9psi on it afterwards but trying to figure out the N/A power range. If it makes 315HP at the flywheel (should be more than that lol), according to a boost-HP increase calculator it shows 507.91HP after 9psi. Not sure if it's any where near accurate, considering 9psi would be netting a 190HP increase over it's NA power lol. Just hoping for 500+bhp @9psi before nitrous

your heads will be the limiting factor

Unported 300-330ish rwhp?

Agreed the heads are the choker of the combo. 350-375 fwhp?

Ya I was thinking somewhere in the mid to high 3's NA. I'm gonna either get a set of the 200cc Vortec's from GMPP or the new AFR Vortec's, but I like having the iron heads under nitrous+boost, just personal preference. I think under 9psi it should make around 500fwhp. CHP had an engine they were testing (Spot the Dyno Mutt lol). It had Vortec heads, upgraded springs, 1.52 rockers, .509/.525 222/230 114 LSA cam (pretty similar to mine), Dual-plane air gap intake, 650cfm holley modified for blow-through. N/A made 403HP, and 8psi made 558HP. Thanks for the help.

Using that cam, I would say around ~400 just because its more of a FI cam then NA. However, compression is going to make a difference of those numbers as well, less compression=less hp NA. Also, what supercharger will you be running? Whose going to tune that engine?

Still searching for a tuner to use my tunercat software. I don't know anyone locally who can use the Tunercat stuff, as of right now it's the ONLY tuner available for our Vortec computers. I have tuned it myself for the most recent 6psi on stock engine and I have it running pretty good. But Cam changes etc will need alot more altering than what I'm familiar with. I Have a Powerdyne BD11-A on it right now, plan on leaving it at 9psi when I'm done and just using the nitrous when I'm at the track. The CR of my engine would be around 10.4:1 after boost with the compression I am runnning with the new pistons. I don't see why it can't make 500fwhp on 9psi

Do you have an intercooler for that 10.4 compression and 9 psi if you don't......then your short block will be short lived. Most run 9.5 at the most on a FI engine. There is a place in Jacksonville, Fl that tunes but don't know if they know the tunercat software....here is there website so you can ask them....http://www.dynotuneperformance.com/

10.4 AFTER boost is less than what I am at now with 6psi. I am running 10.68CR AFTER boost, 9.0:1 before boost now. My new engine is 8.23:1 before boost + 9psi=10.42 after boost, still not requiring an intercooler and 93 octane friendly

350-360 if everything is right. You can't expect the cam to do anymore than that. Done by 5500.

Ok....got ya....didn't see the after boost part.....sometimes speed reading gets the best of ya. Sounds about right man....with the 8.23 compression NA, I would now say ~360 fwhp and about ~500 fwhp with boost. I would put an intercooler on it though so you could run more boost.

The tune will determine how much power you will be producing.

The only problem with 6200 rpms is that the computer won't let the engine rev past 5800 rpms.

It may rev 6200 rpm, but it won't peak there. 220 @ .050" is gonna be done around 5500. The blower may take it a bit higher.

I have experience that says it won't. But that doesn't count for much on an internet forum. Just trying to lay it out as it really is. Take the info for what its worth.

ya I'm waiting on monodax too, TC just sold out to JET though it's a 220/232 cam, should work well under boost up to around 6K though

Yep.....should be a nice piece, just can't rev past 5800 with stock computer system.
