Default Question about measure driveshaft lengh.

I currently have a chromemolly driveshaft in my setup that I measured last year, but I want to change it and go with a lightweight aluminum one. I was wondering if I need to remove the current driveshaft to measure the lengh for a new one, or can I get an accurate measurement while a driveshaft is on there? thanks
Jimmy

Default

You will need the length from centerline of DS front yoke u-joint to centerline of DS rear yoke u-joint - should be able to get this dimension while the DS is still in the car.
