new member need help,I must beat him hi every body,
i am new member in this forum and i need some help.
first sorry my english not first language so i apoligise
i have a car racing after a month from now and i want to know the best parts you recommend to me to put in my truck
my truck is gmc sierra 4.8L 2001 model with A/T transmission
i installed FIPK K&N filter and HYPERTECH power programmer ,
that's all i don't know waht els shall i go with .
my competetore has same truck and we dicede to use everything ecxept ((TURBO , SUPERCHARHER, NOS )) anything other is allowed .
I must beat him , the budget not important for me i am ready to pay whatever just to beat him .

What is the other truck exactly? 350 HP versus that little 4.8 might be tough, even with all the bolt-on's you can get. Cam MIGHT help, but even then, it would probably be rough...

the other truck is same mine except it's manual transmission until now i know that he carry indide the truck FIPK Headers Exchaust Hypertech throttle body air mass until this moment i don't know his next step . but we deal

i heard that i can change some componet in the engine to get 6.0L rather than 4.8L whcih i have right now ?
what should i change to increase my engine liter and capacity ? <== i don't know if this correct i've just heard that .

the Lumina SS is 5.7 Liter right and it's LS1 generation , can i do some modifications on my 4.8 (294HP) Liter to be 5.7 (350HP) <=== can this become true ?
