You could use the factory one behind the PCM if you wanted to.

I drilled a one inch hole for my wires since the grommet AutoMeter sent was for that size.

Why drill a hole? There is one on each side of the car. Use what's already there IMO.

That's a great question, and I'm glad you asked that. First, I have no clue what you're talking about with this "each side of the car." I found one hole on the passenger side that I could use, and nothing on the driver's side. The passenger side hole is definately a no-go. And this is why: I have about twenty wires that need to go through my firewall, most of which are 16 gauge. I like using a different color for every wire for possible, future trouble shooting, which means I have to buy a lot of different colors. Black, red, and pink are already taken for ground, +12V battery, and +12V switched, respectively. They will not change, it's only confusing and horrible practice. Then there's yellow, green, brown, white, blue and gray. I had to kill 13 people for light blue, and I don't think I'll ever find orange -- except online, and unfortunately, only in bulk (50+ feet per roll) which is REALLY, REALLY expensive. If I use that "supplied," inconvenient, far away, passenger side hole, I have to use longer wires, several feet longer. If you care, do a search for wire prices and then do the math. It's simple numbers really... what's cheaper?
