Charging TA

Alright now that others verified I can ditch the broken cat, I dont have my mm-gauge with me to measure the outside diameter of the stock exhaust pipe infront of and behind the cat on a 95 TA (single cat). I searched and some said its 2.5" others said its 2.75", its dark outside now so I will head to the auto parts store here in the "city" tommorow and hopefully they have some pipe that will fit over the stock pipe when I remove the cat (any size recommendations?)...

Can anyone confirm if it is 2.5" or 2.75"?

o.d after the cat is 2.5", after the muff is o.d. 2.25", before cat i believe is 2" but not for sure
