Default 492RWHP 05 GTO Heads/Cam car

We had a car that did very well today and we wanted to share the results.

Let me first say this car is the exception and not the rule so please dont always expect these results.

05 GTO
Manual Trans
Stock Wheels/Tires

What we did:
ET 225 Heads (EDITED .. Not 215 heads)
SI7 Cam
Kooks 1 7/8" Headers (Offroad)
Corsa Sport Exhaust
FAST 90 intake manifold.

Needless to say we are very happy with these results as is our customer

Attached is the graph.

finally some decent ETP numbers awesome numbers for a 215cc head. seems kinda odd how the TQ spikes up from 4000-4500.

would really like to see some cam specs.

isn't the si7 something like 238/244 on a 110? i'm too lazy to check the website...

that isn't thought to be much of an fi cam, per the 110 lsa...nice numbers nonetheless, and a good looking curve. congrats.

Just as I suspected...put the smaller runnered ET heads on a larger motor and keep the dynamic compression nice and high and you'll see KILLER power under the curve even with a FAST 90.

Just look at that torque at 3000 rpm. Benchmark is CID in torque by 3000 rpm and CID x1.25 at peak.
364 rwtq benchmark, 370 rwtq actual at 3000 rpm
455 rwtq benchmark, 445 rwtq actual at peak (dang close)

Very impressive package!

The wait on the ET heads was worth it.

It's been just a matter of time for some of the dyno results with these heads. Since the first engine that I've seen with ET's on it, I new more would start showing up. Congrats on the results and nice job to Speed Inc.

ok i am running a 232-234 comp XER on a 112, running a FAST 90 intake, 1 3/4 kooks with cats in my 05 GTO M6. i made 447 rwhp 426 rwtq, can make similar power with a set heads like ET 215's or AFR 205.

There is an 04 GTO on ls1gto with ET215s making some good power with a mild/aggressive cam. So far from what I have seen these heads are producing.

Just saw he edited that. But yeah, there is still an 04 LS1 GTO making over 460/430 on an NA setup with teh 215s which is pretty darn good considering the drivetrain we have to push power through.

Yes I had thought they were 215's but after talking to one of the other guys here I realized that was not the case. We had ordered them back early in December so it was quite a while ago
