Hey guys,
I just purchased a vararam intake for my auto 2000 C5 corvette along with a VINCI VHP TUNER. I also have a Tbryne MAF ends, larger air bridge, and smooth air bellow. I was wondering how i should tune my car now with the Vinci tuner. I heard Vararam leans out the car alot, along with the Tbryne MAF ends and air bridge, but i also hear that the computer fixes the air/fuel ratio accordingly and its the knock that robs the horsepower. Can i fix this problem with the Vinci tuner by adding fuel or timing?

PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE I AM LOST!!!! Any information will do me good. I just need to know exactly what to do with my Vinci according to the mods i have.

Thanks Alot guys

Clay, call Roger at VHP 407-478-8388 and he can walk you through the setup. I have an 04 C5 A4 with mods in sig and ended up with cam selection #4, -10% timing and -10% enrichment. Try one change at a time and drive the car for a period before you make another change.

start off with the hiperf/stock cam setting as see how it does. if you have a datalogger and wideband, do some driving around and see what you get. if you have some time to get on a dyno, then tune it on the dyno. you can add/subtract fuel/timing to any of the preset tunes and stock tune.

What if i tune it with the hiperformace/stockcam setting and increase the timing 10% and increase the fuel 10%???? Is that too much fuel???

start off as mrr23 stated with hiperf/stock cam setting, then lean out -5% and keep timing at stock. Drive it and make one change at a time

without being on a dyno or having a wideband and datalogger, you just have to try one thing at a time until you fell the best results.

Hey guys, I just picked up the vinci tuner today and i'm wondering if its a good idea to take some fuel away with the enrichment level considering the mods i have. I have heard that long tubes will make your car run rich. Is this true?

hey mrr23, Do you still use this tuner with the mods you have?

you can remove some fuel and see how it performs. yes, i still use the tuner in both cars.
