Default What cam with TSP LS6 CNC heads?

What Cam works the best for street / strip with the TSP LS6 CNC heads?

Next question: What would the best application for the TSP LS6 CNC heads,
Street, Street 50% / Strip 50%, or is it really all out race application based on the cam shaft required to take advantage of this head?

Talked to Jason @ TSP today, he said he's got a couple of grinds in the works that are going to be matched for these heads. Might give them a call for more details or maybe someone will post up...

As of right now theres been some pretty impressive dyno numbers in that section of the board ...I personally would rather see some track times....anyone??

I too would like to see the dyno numbers they make with those cams-but so far the MS3 looks to be the most popular with that setup. I'd like to see the 228r as well with those heads.

I have a set of LS6 (243) heads and I’m torn whether or not to have them CNC or to leave them unported.

I plan to use it on the street (emissions legal) = ( cam limited) and track time too, road race and strip. Need help in correct path to take.

I may be wrong, but from what i can tell small cam cars (as in duration..220-230) seem to respond best with these heads. Due to the large runner (237ccs) and stock valve size the valve is not required to stay open as long as with a stock 241 or 243 runner to acheive velocity and volume for great torque and HP. Maybe im just biased because im not a fan of the huge cams...... would much rather see a good H/C combo with street manners than a huge cam only car.....It just seems that with a large runner and large durations that your torque would go to ****??? correct me if im wrong guys

Will it pass the sniff test? It looks like it possibly could.

I went with the MS3 and i'm very pleased with my numbers. I'm also very intrested in these new cams TSP is trying with these heads. I would waite until after they test the cams if i were you, i still think the MS3 ## will still be close if not near the top.
