Default Will 4.10s reduce Clutch Chatter?

I have one of those on/off clutches. I noticed when I am in reverse my car does not make the clunking sounds as bad as when I take off in 1st. Reverse has a high ratio than first, so I am wondering will 4.10s make my car take off softer than my 3.42s? I am refering to taking off normally from a streetlight.

i think i know what you mean, like it shakes when pulling away in first gear? mine was like that and i have 4.11s now, and as a matter of fact, i did notice that it takes off easier now.

Yeah it shakes bad sometimes when I take off easy i first. How much does it shake with the 4.11s? Just out of curiosity does the gears make the car make feel alot faster?
