ploom of smoke when i drop my car from 6th to 3rd (or second) i see a ploom of smoke shoot out - this only happens when i have a SUDDEN change in rpm, from 1500 - 5000-5500

seems like a regular lt1 thing. mine does it when i get on it hard, but its only like a slight haze behind the car, not like a cloud of smoke or anything, i personally think you are ok on what your car is doing.

If its blue its probably a worn valve seal or ring that doesnt like the faster change in compression
