My throttle sticks between gear changes and it's really annoying. You can hit the throttle and the engine revs up but doesn't want to return to idle, or it returns rather slowly. Do I just need to clean the TB out or is there something else that needs to be done?

I would guess there is something rubbing the throttle cable, or the inside of your throttle body has gunk inside of it.

Move the TB by hand, and see if it is rough/gets caught up and go from there.

i think he just bought this car.
probably need to find out what throttle body is on the car 1st. stock or aftermarket
then go from there.
