Default what y-pipe for Pacesetters?

the shop went through alot to get my TSP y to fit and when they finally got it to fit, it was hanging terribly low on the drivers side..i swear like 2 or 3 inches from the ground! ill take a measurement later to clarify but its really aggrevating and id rather just get another y-pipe that is alot easier with installation and wont hang so f'n low!

what y pipe will fit my pacesetters? Would the Hooker Y fit and is the Pacesetter Y junk? 2000 Camaro SS fyi

Well I used the pacesetter Y, IMO what most think is so bad about it is the merge, and I agree it's pretty much crap as far as being nice and smooth for maximizing the exhaust flow, I think my 6 yo nephew could've done a better job.
However, in its defense, so far it hasn't banged on the floor, or scraped the ground, or leaked, it fit the headers and my cat back with only minor tweaking.
FWIW if you're after a max effort car, you should avoid this Y pipe, if you want just a basic street car with headers, it's not the worst one you can get
Probably the best solution is to get the Flowmaster merge, and have the rest fabbed by a local shop (if that's even an option, and for me it wasn't)

get the pacesetter y. it is flattened out on the drivers side, like the stock y pipe, for body and ground clearance. people say that it disrupts flow, but i dont buy it. i dont see how it could affect airflow that much. i think the merge, like 2K2WS6TA said, has the biggest effect on flow when it comes to y pipes.

I have pacesetter headers and jet hot y pipe...fits fine; no banging, tucks up well

the easiest way is to get a y pipe that matches your headers. if you have slp headers get an slp y pipe and so forth...

x2 on that TSP hanging low man. I have the ORY and 2 days with it on the car I dent it on a rock. I went with a catted TSP-Y to pass inspection and i'll just keep that on I guess until I hit another rock.

Anyone have a under-car pic of their jet-hot y-pipe?

why is the tsp hanging so low for you? you need to go back in and tuck it up better I think.
