Word is the Victor Rienz from NAPA for the b-body is .026 as well.

Stock deck height is .020-.025 ideal quench for most of us is a bit under .040, you do the math, even with the .026 gaskets quench is likely to be right around .050. Not to mention the extra compression helps drivability with bigger cams. I recently took a nearly 20 degree jump in intake duration along with a over 1 point compression increase and drivability has stayed nearly the same. Slightly rough at low rpm TC lockup but more tuning will resolve that.
Yes Felpro specs the .039 for the f-body but that doesn't mean it is best for a modded car, it is better than the stock .049 though.
