Default What Caused This - Clutch Master Cyl

Pulled this out of a 99 Vette today. The car got a new Spec 3 clutch and GM slave about a month ago. Owner of car said it's only been driven 3 times since the new clutch went in. After some spirited driving racing a C6, and while driving normal on his way home, the clutch pedal just went to the floor and stuck. This is what we found.

Yea, you could say that. I'm just thinking something would have had to go seriously wrong with the hydraulics for the rod to bend. Put in a new master and everything seems to be fine.

Unhappy

Did you replace the master as part of the clutch upgrade and not have the master properly seated in the firewall?

I put an adjustable RAM master in my car when I installed my RAM 980 VDS. I recall getting the master to properly seat and lock back on the firewall was a real PIA.
