Default 463 rwhp stock bottom end LS1...

Since the other thread had no "tech"...not unlike thousands of other posts on here....

Idles at 800 rpm, runs on pump gas. Runs very smooth.

228 cam by HiTech
reworked 5.3L heads by HiTech
Fast 90/prototype 90 (same as before)
modded maf and cold air

...everything else on the car was the same when it did 400 with the 224 cam.

flame away.

really nice #'s man. I had thought about using them as well. When i had talked to them they did not recommend heads or the fast 90 for a stock cube motor, I wonder why he changed his mind?

it's not my car. the word is there was a bet that the parts would/would not work. i think they do judging by the results.

also, that is with no pulley or any lightweight stuff like a cf driveshaft or flywheel. with some exhaust tuning and lightweight stuff....hello 480? maybe throw on a set of Pro Stars and swap the 10 bolt back in.....

Nice numbers.

Any specifics on the heads and cam? Such as flow numbers, bore size, lift, duration (intake/exhaust), LSA and ICL? That would add nicely to the tech.

I think mine is a 228/232 585/585 114. But I am not sure. I will get all of the specs when I pick up the car. I drove the car before it went on the dyno and at 3500 it feels like a 50 shot kicks in. I am happy I made the change. I love it.

yeah the cam is smaller than the fm13.

cam specs im sure are no secret, but hitech has asked me to remain silent on the heads....other than that they are 5.3L castings.

Thumbs up

Yes this H/C/I package makes my car really fun to drive. It has that SOP feeling that just makes you what to give it full throttle every time. Yet it has great drivability and street manors. I could not get the thing to die. My TR 224 would die about 5 times every time I drove the car. I am very happy
