that is the exact reason i dont want to try the !molding trick... sorry to see that, but im sure it will turn out fine in the end... everything always does.

holy crap! I havent seen that happen before, mine came off with no problem. Thats a real shame, sorry to see that.

i did mine lastnite to my black car and it turned out great...yet you should pull a greasy sting outta my *** intill i found out that everything looked good underneath...i was a NERVOUS wreck....

i did the !molding mod on my last trans am (silver) and it had been painted and didn't know it and the just painted over the moldings...so although the paint matched under it in that line there was no clear coat....liked like ***

well i go it touched up earlyer today i will post up picture when i get home...then i will decide weather i put the molding back on or not

well this is what it looks like one of my friends at work just taped it off and sprayed if with a rattle can for the weekend and my buddy at work will paint from the crease down on monday so we will see how that looks

did you get anxious and pull really hard. Sucks to see that man, guess it's never 100%. But I am curious as to your method, my car is 11 years old and it came out fine.

ya i got to give the guy props with the rattle can

well what aparently happened was the idiot that had the car before me did something not sure what and had to have the door fixed and the place just threw the side molding on and painted the whole damn thing and thats what you get oh well just thought it was interesting

i have to say i love my car but i will never buy used again...you never know what your getting.
