Default My car just died

Hi guys!

I was out on a high speed test when the car just died. Just lika you run out of gas. I have a spark and fuel pressure in the rails. But it wont start! The only code on my DIC is "P0343" Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage . Whats wrong? I cant see any damage on the cabels or anything. Is the Cam sensor broken?

You have to pull the intake manifold to change it and/or look at it to check it...chances are if you have that code then its the sensor thats faulty. Also check the wiring to the sensor. If the PCM detects that the cam signal is stuck high, when the signal should be low for 1.5 seconds, it will throw that code.

The car can run by just the 24X crank sensor signal, but like you said, it will run bad. It needs both to run correctly.

It wasnt the sensor it was the timing change. I have to look how my valves looks like.. I hate my car right now.
