Those pics on vfn are hard to see because they are small, and the hood is black. Not the greatest pics in the world.

sorry that there is no nose on the car, it is in a different location than the shell! but here you go!

I took out the chicken wire that was in the nostrils used, I guess, for screens, and am making my own out of aluminum or something, not sure yet.

I like it and it is even arctic white just like my bird. what brand is it? Fitment seems off or is it just needing final touches?

It is the VFN. I only just stuck it on there a few days ago, final fitment cannot be done very well without the nose on, since the hood lines up with it, the light covers, and fenders. When it is all on, it is off a tad on the fenders, but I think that is mostly because I got hit on the front drivers side where the nose and fender meet up and I think the fender is rolled under a little.

Oh, and on the lights, they do not exist, no one has ever made anything like that, nor, will any ever! Besides, haven't you heard, that is a ricer mod

Thats a pretty sweet hood. Doesn't go well with the lines of the 98+. Looks good on the LT1 years IMO

I agree.

I think the LS1 Ram Air hoods look good on the LT1's. I've been looking at one that is not tapered to get shallow at the windshield. It is more uniform in height from front to rear and the front nostrils are more flat across as opposed to the outer edges being further back. Those 2 subtle mods really make it look nice on an LT1 car.

Happy to oblige.
That pewter car IS pretty ugly, so I decided to add it to the CHEESIEST f-bodies thread:

Now there's some messed up cars.

I think I'll call that hood "the Super Guppy". If you don't get it, here is a real Super Guppy.

Here are a couple of pics I took at the Trans Am Nationals in 2005. Might be a 6" hood though.
