Default Throwing Belt!

My D-1SC procharger is throwing the belt in the higher rpm's (6500). My question is how do i get it lined back up to the crank?

Either the belt isn't tight enough or you have to align it. Use a straight edge or laser alignment with the belt tight.

The blower belt has to be much tighter than what you would expect it to. I would first try tightening it up. Bob

Good rule of thumb with the s/c belt and how tight it needs to be is...tighten it so you can pluck it like a guitar string and get a good tone out of it.

OR just get the SDCE 8 rib set up and you'll be good. Do it now and save yourself a lot of hassle....if you don't already have it

Does the belt tend to ride up against the front or back of the blower pulley????

I had some trouble with my initial install, Bob, Brent and Guys at EPP were alot of help, wound up having to install a fluidampr which ultimately resolved my issue. However still had some initial issues. The final solution which worked for me....... I backed off the blower pulley bolt about 3/8ths of an inch, started the car and let it idle for a few seconds, the belt will true itself out and track where it wants to. At this point measure the gap if any between the pulley and the blower and install / remove spacers as needed. I have not had any issues since....
