Default Connecting headers to 2 1/2" duals...

How do I go about doing this? I have Pacesetter longtubes with the 3 inch collector obvioulsy, and I bought a true dual setup, but it is 2 1/2". Can 2 1/2" pipe be expanded to fit over the collector? or do I need to buy something else. Pics would be awesome, I know this has been done a lot. Thanks for any help, I wanna get these installed tomorrow if I can, but I need everything.

Buy a reducer from Summit or Jegs. They neck down from 3" to 2.5". Just look it up online.

I used flowmaster smooth reducer cones, very smooth transition from 3" to 2.5". Got them from Summit

Yea, either the ruducer cones, or weld some 3-bolt reducers on there and get rid of the band clamps. I'm leaning towards that route when I put headers on mine.

I am just gonna weld the 3 bolt flanges on my headers and on my exhaust. This way it can come off easily if need be.

i would do v bands if i were you...theyre a little bit more expensive, but seal up better and are less complicated.
