Default Brake light issue

I've had this weird problem for awhile and have tried looking at the wiring diagrams to sort it out with no luck. When I get on the car WOT the brake lights come on. Not all the time, but enough where last time I went to the strip people thought I had my foot on the brake the whole run.

It's not like I'm hitting the brake as well because I use my toes to hit the accelerator and the brake is pretty far from it.

Any suggestions?

pull up on the brake pedal and see if the lights come on, it sounds like the brake switch is out of adjustment. maybe it moves the pedal just enough under hard accel that it set off the brake lights

I'll check that out. Is there a way to adjust it or is it a replacement piece only?

Yea, It threads into the brake pedal support so it can move in and out as needed.
