This weeks race results Went out to Angleton Dragway(a small track just south of Houston)
The wife(FEAR), Dad and I made it down to Angleton dragway about an 1 hour late for time trails. Lucky for us they were having a problem with power to the time slip booth. We start TT about 2 hour late. Fear was not very happy. I dont think she will make it back to this track.
1st round I draw the tracks points leader. I dial a 6.60 to his 6.81. I hit a .518 light to his .558. I came around him at the mph marker and run a 6.62 on the brakes to his breakout 6.79
2nd round I dial a 6.59 to the other guys 7.12. I cut a .517 light to his .587. I pass him right before the mph marke and run a 6.62 to his 7.14.
3rd round I dial a 6.59 to the other guys 8.12. He red lights to my .512 light. I run her on out and run a 6.59 with a 7.
4th round(semis) I draw the ponts leader again(he was in on a buy back) I dial a 6.59 to his 6.79. We both stage, I come on the convertor & bump in shollow(as always), as our lights come down I feel the car move forward just a little. I new I was in deep. I told myself to be careful (dont red light). Well, I was to careful. I cut a .587 to his .540. I run dead on 6.59 with a 4 to his winning 6.81. Oh well thats braket racin.
The points leader went on the win the finals. I should be very close to him in points at this track. He is in 2nd behind me at Houston Raceway Park. Should be a good race next weekend at HRP.

Bummer coach, seems like you were on your game until your 4th round miscue. Congrats on making rounds again. Remember that making a few round every week beats the hell out of a few wins and a bunch of 1st round exits when points are concerned!

Dooh! So close Coach, great showing none the less. Good luck in the points and keep the post coming ... I read them like as if I was there in the passenger seat with you.
