Default Where can I get my Hands ON a..

a custom grind cam for the lt1, i'm getting turboed' soon and i need a custom grind cam made up, where can i get one? also are lt1 head gaskets the same as lt4? and if so where can i get some super thick ones? thanks!

try calling basicly any cam company. check out the sponcers of this site too

ok, i'l try calling comp cams, but i always see people recommend Joe Overton cams but i have no idea how to contact him, he seems to be the peoples favorite.

lloyd will only sell the cams as part of the head and cam package. Not individually. Contact Bret Bauer. He'll give you what you need. bret@bauer-racing.com

The LT4 gaskets are thicker than the LT1 and are the thickest I am aware of for this engine, NOT that I would suggest using something like that.

You want to drop compression for turbo and use an as cast head I would say dump the LT4s and and get some Trickflows and run a gasket of reasonable thickness.

well you see unfortunately i'm at a point in my my build where funds for new heads is a last resort, i'm probably going to call lloyd see if i can send my lt4 castings to him for them to be ported/polished, as that would bring compression ratio down, and see if he can make me a matching cam for my sts setup as well. anyone have experience with his work? how difficult is it to contact him?
