will a th350 that was on an lt1 fit an ls1?

Default will a th350 that was on an lt1 fit an ls1?

i have a built th350 that was used on an lt1. i have a guy that wants it and is askign if it will work on an ls1?

i dont have an ls1 so i never bothered to get that info.

im sure one of yall will know

i belive you have to have a bellhousing adapter and a deferint flex plate for the converter

The trans will bolt up to the LS1, but you will need a different flexplate or a converter specifically made for the setup. The LS1 pull the converter out of the trans about an 1-1/2 away from the pump. So if you install the TH350 and converter on the LS1, you will need an adapter to make it work. Some guys have used the parts from early 4L80E applications, others have used the TCI Flexplate and I mentioned before, some order a special TH350 to LS1 converter.
