Fast 90/90 question????
Thinking about buying a fast intake and tb 90mm. What would a normal hp gain be with a small tr224 cam with port ls6 heads compared to running the stock ls6 intake. is it worth the money with that small of a cam?

You can expect 15-25 rwhp out of the 90/90 combo depending on how nice your heads are. Considering you have most of the other boltons, your only going to find more HP with this and an underdrive pulley untill you change your setup.
Is it worth the cost? Well it depends on you. Since you have spray, you could change jets for more power. Last time I checked, 1/2 ounce of brass costs alot less than $1100! How much do you worry about how your car runs n/a? I love N/A power, so I bought it for my cam-only setup. Plus, it will go great with my new combo and I'll probably have LS1 cars forever.

one big thing he for got to mention, burst panels, best defense against a hiccup, and blown apart manifold. Not to mention ready for direct port. I have the 224 and the 78 I got more out of it than with the ls6. But my cam is on the 144 lsa, well 113.7 to be exact. As far as changing the brass jetting, I would say no,no, 150 is the best guess for maximum safe range, you can go higher, I wouldn't with out some forged goodies.
