i just happen to have one if your interested in it. Best way to hear this cam would be to go to www.LGMracing.com and download one of his in car videos from a race. It is the same cam he runs in his GT corvette.

Do the pistons need to be flycut? I already have this cam.

If youre heads have not been milled you should be fine. I would double check for safety though once it goes in though. Even if you already KNOW it will fit, double check it.

And just to add to the original post. The reason for the ZO6 valves is that they are sodium filled (ie: lighter). And this cam is designed to spin some serious RPM. When you get the valves moving like that, they need to be as light as possible.

The one I have is slightly moddified from an original cup cam.

do you have any idea what the personality of this cam is like?

...or are you just wanting something that sounds mean?

good points.

This cam has a pretty nasty attitude and isnt really condusive to stop and go traffic. Idle will have to be set high and it brings a while new meaning to cam surge.

Isn't its powerband non-existant below 4k RPMS? I'm not sure what the original poster's goals are with this cam but I believe its mainly an AutoX cam. If that's not what your plans are with the car I would look at something else. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
