Default track again = 11.86 on nittos

Well I went back again with the air being 1000 ft instead of 2500ft and had nittos as the MT where bogging my car down .

Best pass was a 11.86@114 with a 1.65 60ft.

last week it was 12.06@112 with a 1.69 60ft .

So the air was better and the 60ft was better so now I dont know if the tires where the main cause maybe it was just the weather. but I still had fun and still running manifolds and the 17" tires at all 4 corners.

So the 2 teths I lost from headers and the bogarts are where it not to have to listen to loud exhaust and having to change tires/wheels everyweek.IMO if the door bars where still in I'd take the cage out.

that was my 01 SS that had a st4000 stall with 3.23 gears and a PA kmember and arms and mac headers .Thing is at the time I only had a HPP3 programmer but the car only had 14k miles on it and all the weight was taken out still had A/C heater box in it weight was around 3300 with me in it. At the time it was a factory freak cause it went 12.78 stock with ET STREETS and a K&N filter with only 400 miles on car.....bone stock from the dealer with 3/4 gas it went 13.11 with only 77 miles on it. Back to the answer of what happened to the car.
I had an idea I could do some circle track racing at the local track here which one week I took second place but broke the converter in the tranny then the next week with the stock converter I kinda lost control in the curve and hit the wall at 60-70 mph and it was totalled . So no more circle racing with my drag car but I do want to try SCCA racing this summer.
