Default question about your hot pipes

Alright guys off of your truck manifolds what size tubing did you go to the turbo with? 2.5"? 3"? also what thickness of s/s did you use? .049?

also what is the flange called the one i need to bolt up to my truck manifolds.

i am just wondering what i need to buy to start fabing up my system.

I am using truck exhaust manifolds with a PT76gts turbo

2.5". I wouldn't think there would be any advantage with 3". It would be larger than the manifolds and then shrink way down at the merge to the turbo.

2.5 for sure. No need for anything larger on a street style setup.

use .065 wall tubing.
i used 2.5" to the turbo, a 2" wastegate piping, and a 4" downpiping.
